Fair Food

I almost forgot about all the food photos I took during our trip to the fair back in October!

The main attraction at the fair, besides the rides, is definitely all the crazy food.

There are rows and rows of food stands, with their bright, colorful signs advertising all kinds of deep fried craziness. It’s hard to know where to look! And even harder to choose what to get!

My favorite are the stalls selling candy apples and cotton candy. They’re just so cute!

So what did we choose to eat??

The first food of the day was pierogies for me, and chicken on a stick for Steven. I had these pierogies last year and had been thinking about them ever since, they’re so good!

Next up was a slice of spinach pizza for me, and a famous fair corn dog for Steven. I’m not sure what made me choose pizza out of all things, but I think it was the spinach that was calling me. A little bit of healthiness during an unhealthy day.

And then… There were these… Magnificent doughnuts!!!

They were the best doughnuts we ever tasted. They also had amazing pretzels. We got really lucky because as we stood in line for the second time when we came back at night, they were giving away the broken ones. We didn’t turn down that opportunity and proceeded to stuff ourselves with soft, sugary warm doughnut. x_x
What is your favorite fair food?
